buying viper replacement remote....

I have a viper 771xv alarm/remote start and the remote is broken, which one do I need to buy? While on ebay I found these two models that say they'll both work with my alarm system:

(only thing with this one is that it looks different than mine, and I don't see the orange "star" button to start the car, but it says it will work with my alarm.

This is what mine looks like, i'd like to buy the first one because it's cheaper and looks a little more stock, but the main thing is to get the right one lol.

On the first one you press lock and unlock at the same time to start the car.

it will probably work with limited function (no remote start). iirc some alarms include these as back ups for the more exspensive, full featured remotes. theres also a possibility of it working with a combo. of buttons like the 791 remote. i have i 474 (back up, never used that i can recall) fs for a little cheaper if you are interested.

Ok, thanks guys!! I think im going to go with the first one. It may not look as flashy/aftermarket but it has all the same functions and a cheaper price tag.
