I am about to buy some speakers and I have the following wiring option either a .67ohm load or a 1.34ohm load. My amp is a DB Drive A7 2000.1 and is rated at 2k@1ohm. Would it be best for me to go with the option to wire amp @1.34ohm or will wiring the amp at .67 be ok? I would think .67 would be fine as with box rise and all I will be well above a 1ohm load. What do yall think? I would like to get as much out of the amp as possible but I want to do it safely. I have that electrical to support the amp so no worries there.

Once I buy thats it there is no going back. So i need legit input.

well, think of it this way... depending on the effiency of your enclosure, you'll most likely be at 1.2-1.5 & 2-2.2 respectively after rise (very conservative numbers)... so, i would say that .67 load would be fine, as long as you got the proper electrical backing it

Yeah, you shouldn't have a problem clearing 1ohm if wired to .67. I had my 3 r's wired to .67 and they ended up at 1.2~. That was in a triple sealed box @ .90cu ft per.

Had a MT/PSI12D1.4 wired to .7 on an AP18001D and never had any problems. I'm sure that DB Drive is a stouter amp than my AP was, so I would say you should be fine with proper electrical as said.
