As far as the THD figure, I strongly caution you and others not to be misled into thinking that it's a very significant indicator of an amplifier's sound--it's just something the industry has adopted as a standard. There are countless articles in audio magazines that go into the particulars about this, and sadly, many of the more meaningful indicators are either never listed or not even known about by users--ever heard of slew rate or T.I.M.(transient intermodulation distortion), for example?? It has been demonstrated that your ears are far more sensitive to differences in these criteria than THD by a longshot--a trained ear cannot distinguish THD changes below about 2.0%, a whopping figure by any standard. If you want an amp that specs great on paper, get a sony explode--then you'll understand why those specs are meaningless, 'cause they sound like CRAPOLA!!!
