buying a "riceburner" maybe?

Yeah, we got a few of those monsters around here too!

Back in the early 70's a guy took an Opel Kadett body, placed it on an Olds Cutlass chassis (shortened) that had a 455, then added huge tires. It looked ugly but that mother had so much power that you steered it around corners with the accelerator...LOL! These days the Oregon thing to do is to get a 4WD chassis, toss in a lift kit and put a car body on it. Donks look puny compared to those vehicles:D

My 1991 Cadillac Brougham is a lightweight these days..how the heck did that happen?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Don't run your little itty-bitty Hondas around one of these Big Dogs...LOL! That's 4 tons of Deetroit Iron coming your way:D

Downstate Oregon is full of big trucks and munched Hondas. On US 101, between Bandon and Port Orford, a Honda got cut in HALF in a wreck. You couldn't give me one of these deathtraps. If the big trucks don't blast you into a million pieces, the deer and elk standing on the highway will come sliding right over your hood into that little Honda (or any small car) after they demolish your front end.

Then we have those 70+ MPH winds in the winter, heavy rains, lots of senior citizen drivers who don't pay the best attention and tourists on the crowded summer roads to add to the havoc. Better bring a gun to the knife fight instead of the other way around in these parts:eek:

Rick
Automatic ftl. I never liked big trucks and I'm not afraid of them. I'll be a lot safer in a Honda than a lot of other cars

I know you're on Hondas but If you're looking for a car that's quick, can be made even faster for a reasonable price, can put a nice size system in, and still gets ~30+/- mpg highway, check out a 97-04regal gs.
They come SC'ed,and can be modded easily, but if you're looking to go turbo here's a couple examples of what these things can do...

Vs. an Nsx. I wanted to see more of this one.

I don't think I'd want to spend too much money because a Regal may take a lot to get it that quick wouldn't it?

How quick are we talking? Low 13's, high 12's? Then no, it's not a lot Imo. Or are you looking to be faster? It doesn't take much to get these things going. If you are interested let me know and I can give you an idea on what you're looking at.
