buying a "riceburner" maybe?

i've owned two hondas and enjoyed driving them very much, my crx had a swap (where i got my name, haha) it had a b18a1 with an lsd, the b18a1 is a different form of the ls or b18. in the light crx it had enough torque and a decent amount of power. if i would have boosted it it would have been a blast to drive. the cars are good on fuel, handle like a sports car because of the wheel-base, and usually get good traction if you know how to drive. good luck with your search.

You can get some crazy speed on a civic if you order a bunch of overnight parts from japan....

You might have to put 100 grand under the hood of that car though...

VTEC JUST KICKEDDDDD IINNNNN YOOOOOO

Civics are awesome little tinkering toys. I used to have one a year or so ago (00 Civic Si) and it was boosted with a fully built engine. I used to live on Honda-Tech before I came back to car audio after it got stolen and stripped.

It was very reliable and I drove it daily and beat the hell out of it. Even before I had the engine built it was tough when I was running the Vortech Superchager (I wouldn't recommend getting a supercharger, although there is a guy working on putting an Eaton Blower on a B16 on Honda-Tech right now that should be very high HP).

Everyone jumps on rice this and rice that, and yeah it's kind of played out and it is a Honda, but when you can smoke some 600 street bikes, I don't care what you drive. Moving fast is moving fast. Here's a couple of pics of mine. Yeah, I'm pretty proud of my college project car and did put a lot of time and money into it. All in all I would say I would do it again.

If you boost it, you won't be disappointed with the funness factor, and still great gas milage depending on which size turbo you get and how good your tunner is.

clean car, i like it.

Yeah I'm getting really excited to buy a car that will be fun to tune. One of my friends has hella parts and is gonna give me a good deal so I can turbo it. I was thinking about this all day at school and there are so mnay advantages for this as my daily driver like

-Gas Mileage

-Will fit a nice system

-Get to tune it

-Vtec

-Reliable if I build it right

I'm really excited. That's a nice Si 528. One of my friends has the same car and color which is a powerhouse
