i got elite but it now sits behind my TV so kinda pointless that i got it...except for the HDMI and huge hard drive...

Well since my xbox doesn't have the hdmi out like the elite does this mean I'm not able to watch things at 1080P? God I'm such a n00b when it comes to shit like this, hahahaha.

I would get the elite or premium package. Elite solely because its black, which is fancier than the jizz white they made the original 360. When i get one it will b teh elite, cuz its all decked out.

If u get a premie get the newer ones cuz of the hdmi

but im pretty sure the old ones are 1080p compatible, depending on the game, with a firmware upgrade off xbox live.

i shall get the elite... its black (like my other electronical goodies, so it wont stick out like a sore thumb), big ol hard drive to store my musick, and of course the hdmi

If you do not have an HDMI or DVI cable hooked to it you will never have 1080p no matter what the output option on the menu says. Component(Rd Gn Bl) cables support only up to 720p.

if im not mistaken there are non elite ones that have hdmi out on them.
