This amp is the same as the IFB-2340c it is just black in color. This amp is mint conditon i used it for a few months and never had any problems. I had it power one 12" Alpine type R with 1100 rms and it sounded great. My favorite amp so far but it will not fit in my new vehicle. Thanks for looking. what size wire does this take? I have 4g and don't feel like running new wire although I'm sure this needs 1/0. Although the power for the price is tempting.

It doesnt have certain size terminals. I was running 4g to it tho so youll be fine with that.

I had it behind my sub box in the trunk and i never had any problems with it, It got warm but never overheated or anything. It has 3 x 40a fuses

Yea didn't realize that, umm

Only problem I see is that I have a Mazda Protege5 and the alternator is 85 amps max. I can't do anything about it due to some stupid ECU regulating the Alternator or some crazy crap.

I'd power up an dual 2ohm sub RE 18 SX so the 1100x1@4ohm would work..

....I just bid on one on Ebay (Directed Amp) to 110 bucks...if that fails I may jump on this.
