I am seriously selling this thing right now, because it just sits here and collects dust. Paypal only, let's get this thing out of here. I'm gonna buy me some CDT comps, i heard they sound good!

$115 shipped

It comes with the core console, HD cables, 1 remote,1 wireless controller, madden 08 and the power cable. I just don't have the harddrive.

what wont this do, that a normal non-core console 360 will? and could you add an externall hard drive for like a computer via usb?
You have to buy the official xbox 360 hard drive but if you get that it is exactly like a premium 360.

Without the HDD you are not able to save data, and thus, not able to have a xboxlive gamertag saved on it.

If it does not have HDMI, then it is a 1st generation xbox, did you send it in for Red Ring of Death fix? If not, it is only a matter of time before it happens. Unless you fixed it yourself, thus, xbox will not honor it as being a manufacturing defect.

You are not able to use an external HDD from a computer via USB on 360's, I have tried, I am able to watch videos and listen to music from my external, or a USB drive, but the xbox will not recognize it as a storage device for games.

There have been hacks to get it to work, but that requires making your own USB connectors and wires, thus changing the pin logic on the connector, so that the xbox recognizes it as storage.

Xbox HDD are not expensive, with all of that said, this is a great deal on a xbox, and madden '08 is still $40+ at gamestop.

Bump for a good deal.

what does it take to fix this? and does it have to be under warranty for the manufacture to fix this, or is it just like a general recall?

i really wanna buy this now, just wanna get some info on it...

and you can go out and buy the hd for it correct?

ya but after all the hassle if the RROD happens your better to just buy a new one,

and if its a core/arcade model you can send your serial number in and get a free 256mb memory card beacuse it will be needed for the xbox experience update

Just an FYI, I have played the crap out of my first gen premium xbox 360 and never had a lick of trouble with it. Not a single red light of any kind, ever. I used to take it over to friend's houses a lot, too, so it did get bumped and shuffled around a lot. I keep mine on some bottle caps to keep it up off of the a/v stand a bit to keep air flowing around it. I also use some compressed air on it to clean out the inside every couple of months. I have owned it for years. Just wanted to let people know that they don't all go bad. I have had two friends that had theirs go bad, though. Some of us just get lucky. Mine has the samsung drive in it if that matters. Bought it off of ebay from "deal a deal" or something like that. It was a return from a big box store that I got it for a steal. That was when they were still going for $400 and I got mine for $250 shipped (exactly like brand new). Peace and free bump!
