As you can see in my avatar I have no room in the back of my ext cab truck

The amps Im looking at getting are at lest 22in long and wont fit in the floor

board...So how can I mount the amp to the side of the box with killing it from

mdf borad and mounting that board to the side of the sub box with rubber feet

Will that work or do I need to do something different ??

your idea is better than direct mounting, but keep in mind the more isolation the better. be very careful!!!!!!!!!

I dont know what else to do... cuz Im still thinking about buying a Audioqe3500

or Sundown 3000 And I dont what to spend all that money and end up with a

dead amp in the long run

If you have to buy 1/2 neoprene (sp?) and mount (glue) the neo to the box, then the amp board to the neo, no screws they will transfer the vibrations.

if you go to like home depot or lowe's man you can get like there little rubber type small grommets/washers put them down on the mdf before you screw the amp down to the mdf that will help with vibration also. There farily cheap to.

I like this idea! Make sure whatever kind of glue or adhesive you use is safe to the type of rubber you go with.
