Agreed. But more often than not, it isn't acceptable. Sad thing is that many protestors don't understand that.There are times when burning the American flag is perfectly acceptable.
Yeah, I've had to dispost of my fair share of flags since I was a Scout. The only difference is that disposing of a flag is a process that is reverant towards the country.The ONLY proper way to destroy the flag is to burn it.
