Bumping all night long? is it safe?

I wouldnt, run it off the battery and start the car every hour to charge it back up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif unless your using a setup with a huge amp.

jesus, just find a 12v or 13.8v Power Supply of large amperage and hook it paralelaly (sp?) to your car battery.. i will run FINE... everyone here does that... they are somewhat expensive thou, but so is gasoline... take a guess

if your batteries get too low a lot of amps won't like it, i've had sub amps do the wierdest shit while running off just batteries.........overall probably personal preference, i'd probably start the car, but it's up to you and your car

I would say rent a generator and run the system off of the 12v out (our big generator can do 100a constant at 12v, pretty crazy, pretty expensive one though) but for that price you can rent a pretty nice system for the price.

When Im at outdoor parties, I usually turn my truck off, and let my Yellow top do most of the work throughout the night...I watch My volt meters, and before they creap below lets say 11.5 I crank up my truck for a little while (30 min) and then cut if off. and im also going to say what The Cybe said...Running a system that long (in excess of 4 or 5 hours) can be hard on it....Make sure your amps have plenty of cool air to them, and that your gains are set properly.

It's safe as long as the neighbors aren't trying to sleep close by. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

What's the point? If your not inside the car then the bass will be pointless, Correct? all you need is a little treble and barely any bass.

i know guys on boats in 100 degree weather that play their music full bore all day long. 7-8 hours, however long. no issues whatsoever. i play mine for 4-5 hours every day full bore during the summer.

I know what i know and i know that a car at idle for long periods of time

will run hotter than being driven. If you want your sound all night long then

go ahead and do it. I don't see any harm that can be done, just make sure

you don't have it fully cranked and watch your voltage. It doesn't hurt to start the

car every 45-1 hour, let it run a few minutes and you should be fine. I have a

remote start with a voltage monitor, if my voltage drops below 11 volts, my

car automatically starts and runs for 15 minutes to bring the voltage back up.

At my garage we have left cars idling for hours for a few specific vehicles. Never had a problem at all. Just do it and watch your gear, make sure there are no voltage drops, and you should be good to go.
