Buldges on boxes?

what do they mean?

Some spots on my box has got bumps on it now...like raised spots. I didnt build it so i dont really know.

any water get on it cuz with mdf when water touches it the wood absorbs and it raises thats what happen to my box

I'm thinking he would know if it was just liquid spots bringing the grain up a bit, from the looks of the question he is talking about distortion of the wood some how... never the less were gonna need more info to help out so hurry up and post so we can kill this post and go on to another..

Near the joints? If screws don't line up perfect when you're drilling the wood can raise in that spot.
