I'm thinking of switching to a front mount IC does that make much of a difference? I guess then you can do away with the front fan and go to an electric fan with less drag on the motor

there is no such thing as a Grand National T-type...........................
it's either a Grand National or a T-Type

Umm there are t-type grand nationals I should know I have one. It's an 84 witht he 87 motor swap with some work done to it last time it was at the the track ran a flat 11 with massaged stock utrbo.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

Do you mean take off the motor driven fan for the intercoooler? the fan up front is electric As far as front mount intercooler goes I personally don't like the looks of them on the grand nationals you can get upgraded intercoolers that go in the stock location that do alot better of a job that's what I'm going to do.

front mounts can make a huge difference in HP but are a biotch to plumb in.....i would go with a mies stretched stock location IC much easier to install , but you wont get the same performance gains as a front mount

although a front mount IC looks means as hell sittin behind a 87 GN grille:up2somet:

if you want to upgrade your cooling system try a 3rd gen camaro radiator and 98-02 intrepid dual electric fan setup......youll drop @ 15-20 deg in water temp
