Buick Grand National Owners

I recently bought me a 85 Buick Grand National....T-type...I wanted an old school....It has T-tops...The motor has been updated to the intercooled 87 ...with over size turbo...cam...throttle body and Flo master exhaust with numerous other performance features...It is running high 12's how it sits.....and the Grand National is in really good condition overall....only needing some restoration cosmetics ...I just bought some new weather seals for the trunk doors and t-tops...I was curious to others experience with these cars...It seems to be a fun car overall and really gets noticed when I'm driving it....

But yes, they are very fun and quick and most people tend to drool when they see a cherry one. I also love the G-body family hence i drive the 81 Cutlass

Mine is a Regal Grand National (WE2) (Available on Regal T-Type) Includes Black (19) Exterior Paint , Black bumpers, rub strips and guards, front air dam, decklid spoiler, aluminum wheels with black paint (4), Grand National identification, front bucket seats (583 trim code) specific Grand Touring suspension plus all of the standard Regal T-Type features....

It is in my Warehouse right now ...I'm in the process of changing out all the weather gaskets....I've been thinking about maybe putting 24's or 26's on it something with a a lot of chrome and a big lip....

I agree that the car should be left the way it is. It looks way better stock then with some aftermarket dressups. The second you put wheels on it, looks and value go down the drain. Also, why throw the power away with big wheels? id restore it to factory condition and maintain the 20g+ value in good shape.

I'm gonna repeat what everyone else has said... if you put anything over an 18 inch rim on that, you really are totally disrespecting that car to the max. That needs a nice small oldschool rim with some fat mickey T's on the back.
