What a moron he is. I know there is already a Barry Bonds thread, but I feel this deserves it's own thread. From calling the Allstar game a tie a few years ago, now this idiot is talking about suspending Barry Bonds because of that book. What a moron, he is going to suspend Barry for something that wasn't tested for? He is beyond retarded. It will never hold up. The players association will simply get it overturned. I heard an interview the other night with Jose Canseco, he was saying how MLB was out to get him and how politics play a big role in the MLB. Bud Selig's latest comments simply give Canseco more credibility now imo, than before. Selig should do us all a favor and resign, he obviously has no idea what he is doing.

Some of Selig's decisions are, um, questionable. BUT baseball did regain a good deal of popularity under his reign, so I dont know that he should resign.

the reason he is thinking of suspending bonds is due to a visit in 2004. he went to SF to talk to him speciffically about the roids. bonds said he didn't do em, and Selig said "if I find out that you are lying to me, there is going to be serious trouble" (or something like that). turns out Bonds is a liar, so he might do it. Selig isn't a bad guy for trrying to get rid of steroids. I would do the same thing.

its funny, you can't suspend him. Selig is a douche though. He's a freakn puppet to congress. And as started earlier the players union will not allow bonds to be suspended period. out of all sports the most unified, organized Players Association is the MLB's players association and they won't let it happen.

Honestly though i can't fault him for calling the all star game too. i mean it was the 14th inning and both douche bag managers used up all the pitchers. There was one pitcher for both leagues. how would feel if you were the manager of those pitchers? i wouldn't want them blowing out their arms for an all star game. Can't blame selig, blame the managers.
