Bucket seats in the back of an intrepid?

Anybody have any experience with installing bucket seats in place of rear bench seats? My plan is to replace the bench seats with two bucket seats, then build a box to fit between them with my 2 12's stacked vertically. Basically is this an idea that could work? any input on this is appreciated. I drive a 94 intrepid.

Very innovative idea. This sounds a lot like something that would be done in a trunk; because they don't have trunks so people put subs right in the cabin. I think SPLmanny made a custom bench seat that had subs underneath. I know thats not exactly what you want but it is the same idea - take out exsisting seats and build custom fabrication seats with subs included. You should look into that.
