Comp VR Power

Heya guys. Im looking to run 2 12" Comp Vr's in a sealed box. Im wondering the recommended power to each is 400rms. Would the Hifonics bx1500d putting out 900 @ 2ohms be too much for the subs? Im was thiking of getting the 2oh version and wiring them parallel/series to get 2ohms. Would this work or just fry them? Thx a ton guys.
