idk if anyone pointed this out yet but you do know the IA dp is basically a nightshade but cheaper. motor is exactly the same. driver is rated conservatively. and those things get LOUD. I am looking at trying to get my hands on some IA products in the future getting great reviews

I agree on them performing about the same.

on one other note the omegas are some great woofers . also pierce audio products makes some great products the wmd2 can take 2kwrms daily get loud and keep sq. Right now im running a wmd 10 and the sub gets loud and sounds great. i'm getting a t3 tss built with their wmd2 coil and some stiff spiders to put up some number. t3 got a whole new line of woofers coming out for 2010 they replace the tss with the t2000. the 12 has a 10" spider rated at 2kwrms. only downside is its running a 3.25" vc which def slims options on who you can go to for recones. hes alil info n pics T3 Audio 2010 T.2000 Pictures - Car Audio Classifieds

yea the dp is on my list for sure. NS sketches me out a little since its only rated for 1500 rms and the fs is 43 hz :/, ive basically took it off my list for those 2 reasons

The HCCA has an FS of 32.3 hz so i dont see how i wouldnt hit the lows along with 30+ mm of xmax. for the price i might give thema try but i still have a while till i can afford anything.

Ive also added the jbl w12gti mkii to my list. i know they only say 700 rms but if there anything like my kappa perfects they will take triple taht no problem. the only thing is the dual 6 ohm coils so i can only give them 1100 each off of one atomic and maybe 1500 between both :/ I suppose i could strap them at 1.5 ohm final load and give them 3k+ each but im not sure how long they will like that for //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

True, it was probably the install.

NS get very low, about like the DP's do. I'd choose between those two 4sure.

the only thign that i dont like about the dp, ns, btl, omega, lvl4 xl and other similar drivers is exactly that, there all VERY similar they all use the same basic design with little innovation except for some cooling here or a custom basket there. I feel like if i got any of those that it will truly be install dependent where as the xxx, axis, hcca, and gti mkii all have quite different designs and will all probably sound very different regardless of install.

not to mention all of the latter subs (minus the hcca) are supposed to be sq subs that get very loud which i think in the end is what im after i just dont want to lose any output to the ear compared to my alphas, I would like to gain a considerable amount if thats possible which it should be since im going from 1 3k to 2 3ks.

some how skipped over this but DAM those subs look sick! any word on pricing yet? i dont care about recones i just go through t3 thats not an issue for me i dont plan to blow them very much if ever as long as they will hold up to 3k each for daily. I think thoes might be what i want as long as the price is decent since the axis's are going to be sold out before i have money.

figured i would update this and let everyone know im getting t2000's in the mid to late summer unless a really great deal comes by that i cant pass up.

awesome man you get them yet? i got my custom t3 tss pap hybrid in its a 15" with a unbroken fs of 26hz beastly low end
