BTL tinsel slap....

not really caring about sq that much...i just like the fact that they get decently loud off of pretty small amounts of power, and there's no point in me keeping the BTL, i don't have enough power for one, much less a multi-sub setup.

150 plus dont come easy on the term
ya...i understand that. i never said i was gonna throw them in a box, crank it, and get 150+. i know its gonna be a challenge no matter what, but i'm confident that this equipment will be enough to do it, just up to my install which i'm ready to work on.

2000 daily you dont think is enough for a btl.
obviously not if my amp had to clip to get enough power to make it louder than 2 12" type rs...that amp at .35 (probably around 2400 watts after impedance rise) without the clipping light blinking...the sub was not very impressive at all. my 2 12" type rs on the herc @ 1 ohm were very noticeably louder which is embarrassing to me, paying 379 dollars for a sub and its not as loud as 2 mainstream subs that i paid 250 shipped for. i couldn't see the clipping light from the position the amps mounted while i was driving, so i turned up the volume and it didn't sound bad, nor did anything get hot or smelly....but i guess it was clipping enough to do the damage it did without me having a clue.

yea yea...bring on the flaming about how i'm a dumb*ss noob and it's all my fault...
