BTL power handling....

Today i bought my first Orion 2500D nd in the next week or so hopefully acquiring another Orion....I will also b getting a D1 fully loaded 18" BTL in a trade....

I was hoping to throw an Orion 2500D on each coil....sending the sub around 5KW for daily use...im a lil skeptical bout the exact BTL power handling so i wanted to check w/ u guys first before i do this....Worse come to worse i will jus wire to .5ohms giving the BTL around 2500-2700 watts for daily...

The standard BTL is rated @ 2000w.

If I were you, I'd only use a second 2500D for burps at competitions.

Thanks for the answers guys i contacted Scott nd he told me tht i could do it nd the sub should b ok but tht it would b pushing the limits a lil bit....so im jus gonna throw an Orion @ .5ohms on each BTL...

Why would you your not running 2 of them
