BTL 15 (3rd magnet +xmax coil) ONLY!

I am intrested iin getting a BTL 15 with ONLY the 3rd magnet and high xmax coil.

5 cubic feet and a tuning of 30. 2000 rms

I was wondering if i am better off with the standard,

THIS IS FOR DAILY. heard that the 3rd magnet and xmx coil results in flatter Bl?, better extension.

Also the 3rd magnet will not give me the coil problems people are having.

Am i right or a nooobx?

I dont want to spend that much, and am NOT using this sub for Competitions. Just daily. I would get the standard but i don't want the COIL slapping

Pole Chamfer takes pressure off the cone, that is something you should look into. If your going to go 3/4 of the way, why not just go all the way and be safe?

No they dont...the 15s are perfect.

and Also to the OP get the loaded one...the cooling helps for daily use.

Why ask a question when you don't wana listen to the answer that ALL of us are giving you.

The standard 2 slug BTL is better for competitions and SPL only... with the options... it makes the subwoofer a MUCH better daily subwoofer as well.
