Looking for some input.

SHURiKEN SK-BT45 (SKBT45) 1250 Watt 12V Car Battery Power Cell

XS Power D1200 12-Volt Deep Cycle AGM Power Cell Battery

Kinetik HC1200 (KHC1200) 1200 Amp 12V Car Audio Power Cell

Which would you prefer to have as a trunk batt?

I will have a D3400 under the hood, and wanting one in the trunk. Only pushing a 2200 watt system, don't plan on any more. Would the Shuriken get it done?

Almost every company seems to have the same size batts, like even the dimensions are almost all the same for each size of batt. So I am wondering which of these three would be better, or if the XS is better but by a real small margin.

Thanks!

shurikens are rebranded kinetiks and kinetik uses recycled lead...xs all the way or deka or or batcap odyssey....anything but kinetik and shuriken
Not true, Kinetiks are not Shurikens.. They are owned by different people.

Call me lucky or whatever, but I ran a 270a EA alt with a single HC2000 under the hood on a AQ2200/Avionixx 440.4 (roughly 3k rms system) for 4 yrs without a single issue whatsoever. This issue with recycled vs. virgin lead is either something new since my Kinetic purchase, or bullshit, so I would say with what you have in your sig and a decent H.O. alt, run what you have...only worry about another battery if and only when you experience excessive voltage loss. Something to consider though would be the Sears Die Hard Platinum made by Odessey with a no B.S. 4 yr warranty, IF in the future, you feel like you need an extra battery.

just my .02
