Brutus Bxi

Soo the wackest thing happened to my friends Brutus Bxi 2010. RCA tip broke in the input so now only the right channel works.

Already tried pulling it with tweezers, heating up a nail and inserting it in the plastic inside.

Any ideas on how to get the tip out?

Im thinking about just taking a small drill bit and just drilling out the plastic and then pulling out the metal shell.

Ideas?

You stuck a hot nail into the RCA input? Wouldn't that melt the plastic part of the input and ruin it? Is the tip that broke off hollow or soild?

If the tip is solid then get a really small grinding bit on a Dremel and carefully drill a hole in the stuck tip then insert a straight twisty tie with all the paper trimmed off and a SMALL dab of strong glue and pull the tip out once the glue settles, don't get any glue on anything else. If the tip is hollow then get a drillbit/grinding bit that's about the size of the stuck RCA tip and jam it in there, maybe turn it a few times to let it get a good grip on the stuck RCA tip and you should be able to pull that out.

Some amps' inputs are open on the other side so if that's the case then just open the amp and push the tip out from the inside.

The nail was super small. Maybe 1mm in diameter.

Its not hollow. Picture a FMJ bullet, metal casing except with plastic on the inside.

Tried super glue the same way you mentioned but it couldnt get a good connection.

I did take it apart and try to push it out from the other side of the input but the hole was so small i could barely fit a paper clip in it.
