how well will a HIFONICS BRUTUS (BX605) mono amp that does 600wrms at 1ohm and 300wrms at 2ohms fit well with a SOUND SPLINTER RL-p 12" which is dual 4ohm?

i would look into a different. hifonics isn't the greatest. if you must stick with that amp i suggest an rl-i with that power.

if that even. look into a directed 1500D which will give you about 600-800 watts rms at 2 ohms. also it puts out 1200 watts rms at 1 ohm in case you want to add another one in the future. it goes for about $150.

Stick with the RL-p's if you want some SQ...I have never liked the way the L5's or L7's sound///But that is me and I like accurate subs...
