Broken Tinsel Wire

Hi guys.. I have a Diamond Audio M5 6.5" speaker with a broken tinsel wire. Anyone know where I can send it off to have it repaired? Already tried calling DA, but they don't repair them. I could also attempt the repair myself, but I'm not sure how to go about it.

eww thats gonna be a tuff 1. you are gonna have to get some small side cutters and cut little chunks of glue away at a time.

looks like quality parts used just a crappy assembly job. the lead wire should always go thru to the other side of the cone. the coil lead gets damaged from flexing there and it dosent take much to break a tiny copper lead...

Someone at Diamond Audio finally responded to an email of mine, and while they don't repair speakers and being the M5 has long been discontinued, they suggested I replace it with a D6 for $43.50. Might as well go that route.. fixing this tinsel wire looks like a nightmare of a job.
