Broken Orion

I have an Orion 1200d, but when i ordered it, it was broken during shipment, and power supply disconnected from the motherboard. I didnt bother with the shipping insurance or anything like that, and now it is too late. I tried to solder it back together with the coldheat soldering iron and that didnt work at all. It used to work when i pushed the power supply onto the motherboard, but since i tried to solder it, it doesnt work at all. Any ideas on how to fix it, or any suggestions on who to send it too, i would like to keep it under $100 if at all possible. How much would the amp be worth as is? Thanks.

That amp will be over $100 to fix if you have to ship it. You may get lucky and find a shop locally that can do repairs. In that case you are looking at $80-$100 labor plus parts.

Its a good amp and is worth fixing for that amount. They usually sell for $250-$300 used.
