bridging

right now i have a lightning strike s2.200 hooked up and i recently got a rockford punch 160. Would it be hard or stupid to bridge the two and run my highs with the lightning?

hopefully I understand your question. If you run an amp on the mids and highs run it in stereo, not bridged (mono) or you will lose right and left sound. If you did run 2 amps (exactly the same recommended) on the mids and highs bridged, run your right side rca to the right side speaker amp and the left side rca to the left side spkr amp

ryan v-so you have 2 mtx 4000 hookup to

your strike 200 and you want to bridge it

is your 4000 4ohm,or 8ohm if there 8ohm sub

then just wire them plus to plus and minus to minus then wire them to you bridge strike 200

but if there 4ohm subs. then you can do to things

#1 wire the two 4ohm subs in series

call the two subs sub#1 and sub#2 take the minus

from sub#1 and wire it to the plus of sub#2

then take the plus from sub#1 and the minus from

sub#2 and wire them to your bridge strike 200

the same would go if you were to use the punch

360 for the 4000 #2 use the punch 360 or the

strike 200 in stereo for you mids and highs.
