Bridging Rockford 360a2

Subs are SVC 6 ohm so I figured the two patalleled to 3 ohm would be fine concisering rise. When I hooked them up I thought they were out of phase but no. If I hook one up bridged it sounds good but with two its ****. Currently I have them set up one per ch but that's very little power and I'd like to know what I'm doing wrong. I use the two outer speaker terminals as I read that is the correct terminals to bridge to. Thanks for the help.

Anyone? It's driving me nuts. If I hook one sub up bridged it work but separately doesn't. Doesn't matter which one.

I'll recheck all that. This amp has separate left and right gain nobs. In bridged mode are both adjustments used?

its all correct works fine bridged to 1 sub doesnt matter which one but with both is sounds out of phase. switch phase and its worse FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

pulled out the subs everything was fine didnt change a thing and hooked everything up and it works perfect?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Probably a speaker wire backwards or something or a loose connection

connections are all soldered and befoire and after i wired out of phase to be sure. shits freakin me out.

anywho on this amp theres a left and right gain, how do i set the gain bridged that way?

no idea man, i never bridged them, just each speaker to each channel

thats what i cant do they are SVC 6 ohm so paralled i get a 3 ohm load mono to the amp and i figure after rise and all that its close to 4. maybe gain each speaker at 2 ohm 160 watts and call it close enough?

might have something to do with the ohm of the subs?

Yeah I had em hooked up separately on each side and did a test tone and set each side by ear. Bridged after an hour of full tilt amp is warm to the touch and subs are stone cold still. I think the 200rms rating for each sub may be a bit concertaive.
