Just making sure I am doing it right. It says to Bridge the Left + with the right - on channel 1&2 then 3&4, I understand that part.
My 6x9 takes 90RMS while my amp only puts out 75RMS @ 4 Ohms, rather have my pair of 6x9s fully powered and sounding good than buying another set to fill the empty channel(Also trying to save money)
First question is is it okay to do it with my 6x9 Speaker or is bridging your amp only intended for subs? It says something about when bridging channels the output will be in mono.
However it says this "Left Channel Only or Right Channel Only Information: If you wish to send a left-only or right only signal to a pair of the G4500's channels, use a 'Y-Adaptor' to split the single channel signal into both left and right RCA inputs. This option is useful when using a piar of the G4500's channels to drive left channel speakers only and the other pair to drive right channel speakers only"
I am not 100% sure what it means but I am thinking it is like this(Just want to make sure so I don't break anything)
I take my RCA that comes from my HU, it has a left and right on it, now I go buy 2 Y-Adaptor cables(Those ones that split the RCA into 2?) and take the one RCA end colored for left put the Y-Adaptor on it and plug both ends of it it into the channel that my left speaker is on, then do the same with the right correct?
One other thing I can't find any button to make the the 1&2 and 3&4 channel game to be slave/master to each other, is it not possible to do this?
