Brett Favre: I'm an attention *****

Da Bores will pick him up faster than a rabbit gets fukked.
1st, the Bears are dumbasses. They wouldn't take Farve unless he played for next to nothing. Besides, he would get crumpled behind our line. The best QB in the world can't do a **** thing without a line, a decent RB, and capable receivers.

reminds me of Jordon being pushed out, smartest thing the Bulls have ever done. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

True about the line part.

Wrong about the recieving core. Farve has taken some, not all, but some mediocre recievers and made them decent.

He did so well last year because he had talented receiving core, but there were plenty of years he didn't and still threw up big numbers.

Didn't you guys pick up a running back in the draft? Maybe I am wrong, can't remember now.

favre hasnt ever had big name receivers on his team. montana aikman young all did. Marino's recorde were surpassed in the same amount of time career wise. brett favre is a better qb than marino. with the talent pool he has had around him i am surprised he would leave this year out of all the other years. I mean montana had rice-HOF WR Aikman had Irvin-HOF wr PLUS Aikman had emmitt smith-HOF RB. brett favre has?? as of late donald driver but name the last pro bowl receiver that was good.

Yeah, but you can't take a 2 year college kid to the bank. He's all we frickin' have.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

Tis is true for the most part.

Marino had Clayton and duper in his hay day.

Then again to be fair, I remember when Sterling Sharpe was having some big years before he retired with Farve. Forgot about him.

when you start talking qb's and receivers you can always debate whether it was the qb that made the receivers good or the receivers that made the qb.

i mean hell look at the browns right now. people actually think derek anderson is a good qb //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif:crap:

He is a decent QB. He did well in college and did well last year, but really anyone who is decent and has a heck of a line, like we do, can do well.

So with that said, who do you think they are going with this year? Quinn or Anderson?

Favre just needs to stay retired why even retire if you are gonna come back the next season he wanted the attention. If Manning wins another superbowl and breaks every stat record there is which he is going to shatter anyways is he the best all time? Football needs to hurry even sportscenter ***** nowadays.

i really hope somehow quinn wins the job. i loved the couple series he got to play last season. he just looked better. all passes , except the first one, in the numbers. just seemed more relaxed and patient than anderson is. i like their theory of keeping two guys that we know that can play but i wish they would trade anderson to try and fill some of the defensive holes we have. if i recall weve already lost a DB for the season.

Favre took a team (2007 Packers) that was predicted to be a 8-8 team and got them within one play of the Superbowl and he was runner up for MVP-I think just about any team would take him for this fall. Don't forget that besides 3 MVP's and a ring, he also owns the ironman record by a mile. He has to be one of the 3 best QB's of all time.

Lol @ the Packers:
'Come back Brett, as a backup. Here's a clipboard.'
I will miss watching him play. He was definitely entertaining.

However, I absolutely agree with the Packers here. They owe it to the team to get this behind them. They have a QB who has been waiting in the wings and they need to do what it takes to let him know that this is now his team.

he owes it to the packers i think to be retired as a packer. at the same time to have brett favre at your disposal cant be a bad feeling. brett isn't back up material. Aaron rodgers might be good or he might not. i mean brett favre has established himself, and for him to ride pine for a guy he coached up for 4 years is silly. do you honestly think brett favre needs a QB coach? no they lost that back when maruchi left. rodgers needs lots of works on reading defense's and finding a go to.

Meh, I think a tean has to look at the big picture. Rodgers is going to have to play to get better, and he is the apparent future at that position. Besides, this what, the third year in a row that Farve has put them through this? I am sure it gets tiring.

there is way too many sides to this.

A. like it or not he has gone through alot while being a QB, his wife being sick and family members dieing

B. Best games stats wise as far as the "things you can say Brett wasn't good at" like completion percentages, and interceptions were his last 8 games of the regular season.

C. Being a football player is not an easy job if you have a family (same can be said about coaching)

i hear mixxed stories and everything about why is wants to come back....thing is how good would the packers have been without him last year?but if they really feel that way about him (not allow him to earn starting position) they should cut him loose...they put themselves in position to look like the bad guy here reguardless
