Two things:
1) Carwin's wrestling career is pathetic compared to Brock's. Did you forget that Brock was NCAA Div I champion and won the Big 10 twice? Carwin was Division II. Brock's college wrestling record was 106-5.
2) Carwin fights at about 250. Brock weighs over 280 and diets down to get under the UFC's 265 pound limit.
Yes, Carwin impressed people with his series of quick knockouts, but again, except for his Gonzaga fight they were all basically cans. It's like counting Kimbo's street fight record. I'm not saying Lesnar's the best HW ever or anything, just that Carwin's one of those guys that's gonna get humbled FAST when he's up against someone bigger and stronger than him for once.
The ONLY thing Brock has to look out for is Shane's really good right hand. But I have a feeling Gonzaga just underestimated him like GSP did with Serra.
Do you not know that Carwin has a pretty nice college record himself
