break in

ok i know you guys have heard this about 1 milllion times but i did a search and nothign on the first 3 pages so it did try but hwo long do i break my subs in for i mean they have about 3 hourse use on them i drive arund at 13 and thats gotten me pulled over, my ears hurt at 20 but i kinda wonder what i can do. anyway below is my setup and i have an alpine i think they go to 35 right?

 
Please reduct the size of the pic in your sig......that's really annoying.

Anyways, give it 20-40hrs of hard use (not maxed out, but decently hard) and the suspension should be really "loosened up". Unless you are competing in SPL and throwing insane amounts of power on them, nothing bad will happen if you don't "break them in".....but 20-40hrs of good use should loosen the suspension up some.

20-40 will take me years lol, but ok and ill prolly only have the car for another 2 years and then i will sell it but i was hoping to compete in smaller classes next summer do you think i should go get metered before hand so im not laughed out of the show?
