brand new sub problems!

so i had a kicker cvr 12" for a while and i wanted to add a second one. i got a box from my friend and ordered a second cvr from techforless off ebay. they had good ratings and i checked out a lot of feedback and stuff so i ordered one using the buy it now option and i got it today. first of all it wasn't packaged well at all. it was in a small box with a minimal amount of padding and the box was ripped on one corner. so i checked it out and it looked ok so i installed it and wired it properly down to 2 ohm final load with my other sub. i hooked it to my kicker 750.1 amp and tested it with some music. the brand new sub seemed to be rattling inside. i don't really know how else to describe it. it puts out bass just like the other but it has this higher pitched rattling noise. i'm not sure whats wrong with it. does anyone know what this noise is? it even happens if i turn the gain all the way down. it kinda stops if i lightly push on the cone.

Coil out of alignment and rubbing would be my first guess.

Not related to problem... but I guess you have 2 dual 2s? Just making sure you don't run that amp to hard.

I have 2 dual 2's. each sub is wired to 4 ohms and then they are wired down to 2 ohms final load. I have the gain about half way up. Just kinda did a quick set to high volume and then adjust gain to a reasonable level.
