Brand new eD amp, fried?

I purchased an eD nine1 amp a few weeks back and finally got around to installing it in my car.

I hook everything up and nothing happens. I unhook all the connections, everything looks good, hook it back up & still nothing. Finally, I decide to pull the fuses on the amp...sure enough all 4 fuses are already blown! Can anyone tell me what the hell happened....? Maybe I got a restock amp? Im totally lost!

check your wiring. my friend hooked my shit up and 6 fuses later he found out it was wired wrong

Thank you capt obvious. Was hoping someone could throw out a suggestion as to why they could've possibly blown if/when I hooked the amp up. Btw, the neg terminal on the car battery was disconnected.

Replace the fuses and try again.

my point in saying to replace them, they couldve been blown before you hooked it up.

They probably got blown the instant you tried to turn on the system. Verify all wiring. People have been known to connect their ground wire to the +12v on the amp, and their +12v power wire to the ground on the amp.

Call eD, they'll walk you through the install to verify everything is kosher.
