i called around today and got some prices i can pick up a brand new 12w7 for $500 either that or a 12w6v2 for $420 is it worth it to spend the extra 80 bucks i think so... but im little short on power for the dub 7 for right now but i would upgrade the amp soon but with a jbl 600.1bp be enough to do some good right now with the dub7 in a ported box

You can get a much better sub than a W7 for 500 dollars. Look at the classifieds. Try to find a mag. Much better than a dub7.

their age mags going for around $300 around here, im im sure you'd be happier with a mag over the w7

3515 is better then dub 7 want mine... im looking to sell and ill do it less then 500 and its only 2 months old.

the w7 will be louder then the w6v2 though, I have had both in ported and sealed boxes before. I think it is worth the money if that is what you are looking to get..

the w7 is worth the extra $$$, but you can easily find a used one in the classifieds in the $300's. I bought a 12w7 for $325 shipped.

well i am stuck on the w7 for sure because no one around here has one... so would my jbl 600.1 be good enough for right now to at least get somewhat loud it will be going in 2.5cubes

His question was, W6v2 for $420, or $500 for a dub7. Not what do you guys think is better in your opinion.

I personally out of the 2 would spend the extra money for the dub7. You'll be much happier, especially when you get more power.
