I have an Addictive Audio 15v4. 2000 rms very conservative. 8 layer flat wound voice coil, 8 spiders, triple tinsels, 10g or 8g direct connects. Never been powered so the FULL warranty WILL transfer, only out of the box for pics. Good long story. Addictive had the design for the basket, then there was a hold up designing the voice coil, so the build house for the basket, sold the design to American Bass, spiders, coil, and even the magnet are different. It concerned me too when I saw it, and had to get to the bottom of it.

Yes, and you can get 1000 15s at walmart too for the same price, you get what you pay for. because a lexus and toyota have the same badge on the intake manifold, does not mean they are the same car, nor cost the same.

Thanks D_man. I did not say that the Addictive is a Lexus, I was giving you an example. There are lots of mechanical and structural differences between Addictive Audio, and EVERY woofer that looks like it. In my research, I prefer the Addictive over the others, based on it's performance and mechanical abilities. Hence, it is priced higher than others woofers that look similar. Keep in mind, looks can be deceiving.
