Brakes

Just done a brake line repair or well i should say i had a friend do it. now i have brakes but they are really light, dont think he bleed the brake lines, will this work itself out or do i need to do something. also the line he replaced was say 2 feet long, and he replaced it with like a 4 foot section. will this cause a huge problem. as u can see i have to mechanical knowledge. im sorta worried but im low on cashe:crap:

wasnt thier but i dont think so, cause the brake pedal is still moving pretty freely.

You need to bleed the brakes, and making the line longer isn't a huge problem, but you might need to add more brake fluid. Sounds like the guy who did this didn't really know what he was doing...

But cars don't have wrists, unless you mean for him to cut his own while driving, which he may do anyway if he don't get the god dam answer he is looking for.

k, i'll give you an honest answer. in order to bleed the brakes you need to make a small slit in the brake lines. this creates a vacuum in the brakeline and will give you that crisp feeling in the brakes your looking for. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

lol dude if you dont know how to bleed brakes you will never be able to do it... take it to a pro and have it done... brakes aint something to play with... and why did he make a 2 foot piece 4 feet?
