how long did you play with the three? and what kind of boxes? i'd be very interested to hear your reviewi've played with all three. i prefer the brahma over the three. the rl-p will come a very very close second.
I definately don't think an RL-P is on the same playing ground as a Brahma, but on the other hand, 700-750 watts is the sweet spot for an RL-P. Why not just get a better amp and keep the brahma? Ive never heard a brahma in person, but i own an RL-P.
i've played with the brahma the longest, a good year and a half or so. i've played with the avalanche for about a week and the rl-p, not as much yet. each of the drivers were played in my enclosure that was built for the brahma, 2 cubes @28Hz. all were powered with a QSC USA1300. i played a few tracks that i know pretty well and did very rough comparison. in my case, i noticed that the avalanche was not as effecient as the brahma and rl-p. the brahma and rl-p pretty much performed the same in my opinion with a the brahma having a slight edge in sq. once again, it was a rough comparison. i also didn't compare all three at the same time since i didn't have them all together at once. all based on what i remembered.how long did you play with the three? and what kind of boxes? i'd be very interested to hear your review
That would be enclosure dependant. It says that 1600 is thermal rms not mechanical. 600 watts is sufficient for most situations.
