I'm trying to decide which of these two subs i should get. I have a 1991 honda accord, the sub will be running off a jbl1200.1 Which sub will sound better with the power i will be given it (1300+ watts). Is the eclipse worth the extra 200 dollars? How reliable is the adire? I want a sub that can last me for a while. thanks alot guys

I am a big fan of the Eclipse, I have the alumins now but the Ti's are next, from experience I think the Eclipse might give you more SQ and faster response, but the Brahma will give you more SPL, both are sweet subs, Eclipse are very proven and the Brahma is very nice too

If your willing to wait, the Brahma would be the way to go. If not, maybe you should look into another sub. Ti's are nice, but a bit overpriced for what you receive in return IMO. I'd just as soon get a W7 for that kind of money.

Many that are "in the know" say that there is a small difference between the Alumininums and the Titaniums, but not enough to justify the price difference between the two. Take that for what it's worth I guess.

You can get a 12W7 for about $500, the same price range as the Ti. Neither one is worth it to my wallet, but to each his own. But I would rather have the W7 if I were going to spend that much money.

I personally think that the adire brahmas are worth the money that you pay for them. They are a good mix between SPL and SQ, 40% SQ and 60% SPL or somthing like that. Or you could look at the RE XXX sub if you are lookin for a little more SPL

The Brahma was built as an SQ first driver. Dan Wiggins isn't into SPL, and is an SQ freak. He made the Brahma as an extremely accurate driver that happens to get pretty loud too.

The eclipse titanium has been nothing other than a complete waste of money from my experiences.

Zero cone area, poor linearity, not a very good overall driver, unless you like the bling bling... then by all means...

I suggest you look into the Aluminum lines if you are after something to listen to.
