log is a mathematical function.. you would use a calculator to figure that stuff otu.. but if youre lazy.. figure 3 db for doubling cone area, 3 db for doubling power.. so 2 15s would get about 6 db louder than one 15 would. porting would get you even more.

and yeah from what ive read the XXX has the potential to get louder.. but also requires more power to do so. with the same power the difference wouldnt be enough to worry about.

whats log lol....... im lost .... and last question........ is the xxx louder then the brahmas cause im looking at the SD the Xmax and it has significant more in both places.

The Sd of the two should be very close; IIRC RE uses the 1/2 surround method, which is not correct (and you obviously can't compare the 1/2 surround method to the 1/3 surround method that Adire uses). So, the Sd of both will for all intents and purposes be relatively the same. The XXX has a little more rated throw, but not enough to make a significant difference.

What kinda amp should i use to push 2 brahma 15's....... I was looking at the PA 3000db amp and orion 2500d. Orion is almost double the price thou....... which can any1 recommend an amp
