1 should be plenty loud, depending on your car, you should hit high 120s or even low 130s in a sealed enclosure with 800w going to it.

I'm not exactly sure about the sound quality on the Harrison Labs amps, but they are class D amp, not known for the best sound quality output. 800w will be fine for the brahma, and you'll only have problems with the sub if you have your amp gains adjusted improperly so that the amp clips and causes the speaker to experience a direct current load.

Any sort of Class A/B amplifier which should put out better sound quality will cost a lot more money for the same amount of wattage. Class D amps in general are just cheaper per watt. For a bit cheaper, you can get a cheaper class D amp that puts out a bit more power than the harrison labs 800 watt'er. The JBL 1200.1 (http://www.ikesound.com) should put out around 1200watts RMS. If you're looking for sound quality amplification on this sub, look into precision power amps, zapco amps, and phoenix gold amps. http://www.carmedia1.com has some good prices on this stuff

The digital amps such as rockford fosgate 1500.1bd (1500w x 1 @ 2ohms, http://www.ikesound.com) or the JBL 1200.1 like a 2ohm load. You will get a 2ohm load if you wire your brahma 12 in series. The harrison labs amp can be ordered so that it will be stable at a 2 ohm load. So the amp .2 is what you'd want.

That enclosure you listed is a beast. I'm not sure if it's worth the money though. Personally for SQ, I'd want to put this thing in a net 1.5 cubic foot enclosure, but 1.2 cubic feet should work fine as well. And, think about the shipping costs on that enclosure! probably weighs a ton!

I can make you a custom enclosure if you give me the dimensions or type of car you got. It won't look as nice and pretty as the subzero enclosure, but you could carpet it yourself if you wanted, or paint it or... But, the bottom line is that anyone can make a very strong enclosure that won't cost an arm and a leg.

brahma 12 + nice sealed box + good power = very nice sounding bass

Why don't you just build your own box?

It will cost you a great deal less, and you get some experience out of the deal....

As for amps, I've ran them with infinity beta 300's with great results (also from ikesound.com) and the JBL 1200.1 also rates high in my book...

Of course... I could be mistaken... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
