I watch some boxing not all. Alot of it is boring too. I watch all MMA matches though. I use to do it when i was in my early 20s

He's a legend in the form of a pioneer with excellent ground skills. He's not the end all and be all, even in BJJ tournaments. Hell, even Wallid Ismael beat him on points.

you're right, but what kicks in when it goes to the ground!? bjj or wrestling or some type of grappling form. thats how bas rutten lost to either ken or frank shamrock in the pride fights. he was just a striker and when it went to the floor, frank or ken jumped in that *** cause bas admittted he didn't know how to grapple at all. when he finally learned, he was deadly.

Bas Rutten lost because he's a mediocre fighter with a pancrase background. Like Ken, he was all hype used to sell tickets. And Frank killed him in a Pancrase match because you can't close fist strike. It's an open palm. Frank laughed at Bas when he was hitting him in the head. His striking isn't even anything to write home about.

Ive agreed with you so far up until the Bas comment, Later in his career he became a very lethal striker with an arsenal of submissions. I woudlnt dare put Ken Shamrock in the same league as him. Closed fists were not outlawed but Bas rather used open palmstrikes as to not break his hand if i remeber correctly. Also he dropped Frank Shamrock numerous times in the match were Frank is laughing at him while on the ground. LIVER KICK!!! I have quite a few highlights if any one is interested pm me on aim splhooligan.

right now just weights and jumprope. once i move back home i'll start at the bag again

im not even that far into it, more than likley i'll just continue my training but probably not box and dive straight into MMA, im not sure how the weight classes work there though.

right now im down to 140 and trying to get back to 165 with a ~6-9 bodyfat
