Hey Big horny sound freaks,

Anyways guys I am kidding...

I am getting two w7 13.5 for the civic. I was wondering can I fit both sealed in the Civic. I have this as my dimensions to work with.

33.5 Length "Left to Right Side"

14.3 Tall "Height"

16 Wide "Front to Back"

Help me out guys I am looking at one sealed box. What you guys think 1 ported box or two 13.5 sealed??

Help me out on some opinions I am new... I don't know much you guys are my deciding factor on how it will be setup...

If anyone is wondering I Have a 220amp alternator with a Regular Civic Battery and a Cap along with 0 guage stinger 250amp anl fuse for the wiring and big 3 done. So I should be ok. I am looking at going with a deepcycle battery, but I havent been convinced that they would work yets, still rearching. Before I had the orion 2500d running two IDmax I had some lighting problems still but at least didn't burn up my alternator.

well the jl website shows 1.875 sealed for one. The displacement for one is .21

So with the dimensions you gave you have almost exactly 3 cubes net.

That is with disp. figured in. That would be 1.5 for each sub

That would be pushing it considering that you would need some bracing and that will take away from the internal space...

what year civic?

soo what guys two sealed or one Ported box??
sell the other w7??
Depends, I think port the one and sell the other. That way you are not struggling to fit both in and it will sound great with one ported.

Dont get me wrong it would sound great with two sealed but with the amount of cubft required and the space you have, go with one ported....

I say if you have both subs already, and you've got the power to give them - why not at least try it?

Build the box, listen to it and see if you like it. You can always sell one if you decide to do that later, but if you sell it now then you'll never know.

Agreed. You spend 20 bucks on a box, whoopty doo. Build a dual sealed with those max dimensions and a divider down the middle. Then build a ported thats close to JL specs tuned at about 35 Hz. If you need help with the tuning come back and ask //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif .
