if you just plan on buying a plastic ball i would just go to the proshop, if you buy offline it will probably cost about the same...the ball will be cheaper but in the proshops price it includes drilling.....at my proshop here they sell the plastic balls for about 80 that includes drilling, if i bought a plastic offline it would cost about 40 plus he would charge me 40 to drill a blank ball.....so in this case i would just go to the proshopThat's what I planned on doing, was just buying a blank ball, and havin' it drilled at a pro shop around here.
are you serious? if you get ANY ball that is going to be your own GET IT FITTED. Some balls may be close at the alley to fitting your hand correctly, but thumb pitch, span, etc etc etc has to be correct. I had my pitch wrong on my Beast and TiBossII and to this day still (havent seriously bowled in 5 yrs) I have a small callous b/c of it. My Cuda/C 2000 seems a bit better, but I chicken wing alot so Im sure if that gets fixed I will have a better armswing and the callous may not get any bigger on my thumb.Of course that is only if you are serious about bowling, otherwise you can go just about anywhere and get a cheap ball that doesnt have to be fit.
Many bowlers that arent serious and just do it to have fun dont even use the holes so getting it fitted doesnt make much sense. That is why I suggested that.are you serious? if you get ANY ball that is going to be your own GET IT FITTED. Anyways, an 11lb ball will carry fine through pins, I'd hope to stuff the pocket a tad high though or else you will get alot of deflection and probably some 5 pins and some weak 10's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/*******.gif.a649d21efc0d1fd4890a6428166586c1.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif
anyways, enjoy bowling, its a great sport.
Why not get a NICE wrist brace so you dont have any dislocation problems?
also, why does your wrist mess up when you use heavier balls? Do you throw a backup ball, top the ball, or have some other odd issue that we dont know about?
I love my old Super Beast (not the same as a Beast but almost). It was my first ball and I still go back to it most of the time. I have had many balls after it (that did not sound good) but it's still my favorite. It has the perfect drill I guess, who knows.I had my pitch wrong on my Beast---- but I chicken wing alot
heard good things about hammer no mercy, i would look into the black widow pearl or my personal favorite ebonite total nvNo, I do not 'break' my wrist. Usually I do hook, and some occasions, I bowl 'straight' (I guess that's what it's called), so I can pick up some harder spares. I was thinking about buying a Storm T-Road, these any good? If I were to get a 12Lb. I was thinking about the Hammer No Mercy ball?
