dont forget to get speakers too and an amp for them. that would sound better, but what ur gettin is pretty nice

I got a Pioneer headunit, 50x4 watt and when I do get speakers, it will probably power them, but I will be running my stocks till about X-Mas.

The bass will just be louder than the words... I mean you will hear booming but no singing...

I copped some Kenwoods not too long ago and they do the job for me right now... I have powering straight off of my HU... I mean I paid $45 for the pair.... and people like them,....

There nothing great but they are ideal if you have some extra money sitting around...

Oh yeah, you coul just use your CD Player to try and balance out the sounds... like turn down bass, turn up highs... I mean that should do a little justice...

Yeah, I have a digital camera so I will def. have pics. I might buy some new doorspeakers too, it's just if I tell me mom a low price, she won't flip out, I am paying, but she still doesn't like me to spend alot. So that's why I was gonna break them up, and by mids/highs later. The guy at the shop says he configures the CD player before he is done, so it sounds right. So hopefully the bass won't drowned out the sound.

congratulations on getting some JL's i have 8 JLw6's. i love them.....i think JL is underrated. i mean i know that sounds funny but take the w6 for example......they are rated at 600watts peak.......yet i have a friend who runs them at 800 watts apeice and they haven't blown yet.....they've been runnin this way for about a year now....sound just as good today as the did back then. does anyone else notice this with JL?
