Bought from Louisiana crx and haven't heard back sense the purchase

I want to start off by saying I don't want this to be any sort or hate thread or bash thread.

I have recently bought a JBL MS-8 from Louisiana CRX. My purchase date was the 19th, he said he had to pull it out of his sons car and he'd be shipping. That again was the 19th. My last received message was again on the 19th and he said that I would really enjoy this processor. Sense then I have reached out to him a few times and have not heard back but he has also not been online. He seems to have good reviews and is somewhat a highly regarded seller, so I don't want to get in a fuss over nothing but it is $400 of my money for a product that has been in limbo for almost a week now with no communication.

Do any of you have have a way of contacting him just to know all is well with my order? (Please PM me with the results, I don't want to ask for his contact info, if he wants me to have it he will give it to me) If I haven't gotten any of my update by Friday (A week from purchase) I'm going to contact paypal with a dispute.

EDIT:

All is well. Louisiana CRX has gotten back to me and updated me with the shipping information. Package is on its way.

I briefly went through the thread. Looked like some poor communication and I didn't see and explanation as to why. In the end it looked like the problem was solved and many posters on there did say LCRX was generally a good seller and has had a good rep.

I'm not trying to say he's trying to do me wrong or damage his cred, I understand that he has (or may have) a life and sometimes life gets in the way, but he also has an obligation to me for fulfilling my purchase. Just looking for a "hey, sorry, it shipped on Monday (or whatever)" or even a "Sorry I've been dealing with some personal issues, I'll have it in the mail by Friday."

Right on. Thanks for any and all help. Just hope I get this solved soon. Gonna start tearing my car apart this weekend and I'm hoping to get this before I pull my floor apart so I can easily mount it under my seat.

First you should have never have bought something that he wasn't ready to ship ASAP... Everything I sell is ready for shipping as soon as payment is made. I ship same or next day. Him not shipping and no communication is bvllshit. before you paid for the item there should have been a set plan on when he would ship it the item.... Ideally you shouldn't have paid until he was ready. It svcks Forsure hope everything gets worked out

We did have a shipping plan. He got his sons car Thursday, verified that all components were there, and then on Friday I paid while he stripped it out, from there I haven't heard. I paid through paypal and it was not a gift so I can dispute it. I'm trying to give him the benefit of a credible seller from here according to other credible users. This was also my first purchase on here. I asked if anyone had a MS8 for sale, and he did, it wasn't a posted ad.

I agree that the item should be shipped out within 48 business hours, generally I do 24 and let the buyer know if it takes longer.

If the buyer needs it within a time frame you need to notify the seller of that, and ultimately incorporate it into your 'contract.' this makes a big difference in the long term and keeps both parties on the same page.

but you're by no means wrong for questioning your situation. people are too lenient and politically correct (yeah, seriously) about business, it's not friendly exchanges of money, equipment, and blowies, it's an actual business transaction and there's responsibilities you assume when taking someones money. if your feelings are easily hurt over it, due to your own mistakes, maybe it's just not for you.

are you sure he hasn't shipped it and you just didn't get a tracking number?

I'm not sure on anything. I can't say he didn't ship it and on the way home from the post office he got pulled over with a kilo of blow and is sitting in a cell. I just don't know that. But I haven't gotten an update on shipping. How long should I give the package to arrive before filing a dispute? I assume that if he pulled it out on Friday it was shipped Monday or Tuesday.
