That small capacitor blew up eh? Had that happen to a 1 watt amp for my computer speakers... gave it 18v when the input said 9v haha. It is kind of a mess though, oily and smells weird.

You might be able to just replace that cap and the amp should work again, it's a 50 cent part. But hey it didn't work as advertised so work it out with the seller or file a dispute.
