Bought a new 160amp alt

I think the wire that I bought from ED, can handle somewhere up to 300amps or something... and in the sticky forum for the big 3 its stated not to get a fuse lower than your alternator output, in my situation 160 amp alt, getting 160 or higher would be good. I dont know much about this stuff so maybe im wrong.

the next up I have seen is a 200amp circuit breaker, I dont run fuses under the hood cause if I F something up then I have to buy another $5 fuse and also just push a button on a breaker and it kills power the whole way to the back

i think 200 should be safe, if my alt is pushing that out man i ordered a super alt
where did you get your amp ? and how much cuz im currently looking for one ( same amps ) for a good price. help plzz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif

you want the best price on any amps go on ebay.. and buy from a reputable seller...your not going to find it cheaper on ANY website unless you buy it locally or directly from someone on a forum or something

Bought it on ebay for $150...I checked most other sites and didnt see anything under $250 it was all so expensive and im definately not paying that. some people dont like ebay(egay) whatever you want to call it because some people have had bad experiences... well not me so ill continue to save money that way! good luck!
