Bought a Cigar humidor.....need help?

I just purchased this cigar humidifer and I am trying to charge it and get it ready to put my cigars in. There are a few things I am not certain on what to do and I wanna make sure I do it right so my cigars will stay fresh. Here is a link to the one I bought. I put distilled water in it and let it sit for 2 days and emptied it and now im trying to figure out what to do and where to mount the little gold thing lol.

I had one a few years back but don't remember much about it. I googled ...cigar humidor instructions ...before when I was tryen to figurem out. They tell ya how to season them also.
