Bought a 99 cent crapper Sony

I just bought a .99 Sony XS-L1235 12" CAR SUBWOOFER.

Costed me a total of 11 dollars including shipping on Ebay. I know some of you are going to say I overpaid, but plz don't lol. I wonder if this things gonna even be audible.

How long everyone think its gonna take to fry this sub with the RMS 250 watt rating?

it should be a fun project. My friend has a pair of 10" shit sony's that I'm going to try and install in his Element. Should be better than stock, and the stock system is pretty nice as it is.

Did you buy it to blow it or buy it to play it? If you want to blow it, set it up free air with some 0db 35Hz test tones and vid cam. Would be fun to see.

I could probably sell it for more lol but idk. Even the idiots at my school usually stay away from Sony. They r more Pioneerish(the Pioneers sound pretty good actually)

While I am no Xplod fan, by any means, if it plays at all it is likely worth the $11 you paid for it. Stick it in a decent enclosure and feed it appropriate power and you'll probably get your money's worth out of it.
